84codes and the CloudKarafka team is happy to announce the addition of a new Enterprise plan for CloudKarafka, Proud Penguin, providing higher throughput and more disk space to our enterprise customers.
Since 2015, 84codes has offered a managed cloud hosted Apache Kafka service. CloudKarafka automates every part of setup, running and scaling of Apache Kafka. We have support staff available 24/7 to help in any event or with any questions so developers focus on the core part of their applications, instead of managing and maintaining servers.
Since then, we have continuously been making improvements to the platform from customer feedback, and over the last few years, they have been asking for higher throughput and more disk space, so we listened.
Here is a snapshot of what the Proud Penguin plan will offer:

- 1, 3, 5 or 7 nodes
- Zookeeper on all nodes
- 4 cores per node
- 32 GB RAM per node
- Starting with 4TB of HDD disks per node
- Additional disk available
- Unlimited log retention and compaction
- Unlimited connectors and plugins
- Mirror Maker, Kafka Connect, Custom Connectors
- Phone Support
